Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

But, there are no flowers . . .
We took an early morning drive up Lamoille Canyon this morning, hoping for spring wildflowers. Though we had a heavy snow year, with June coming to a close I anticipated the flower show would be coming on. Boy, was I wrong. It was a good thing I had thrown in some jeans and my Gortex hiking boots. There was water everywhere and snow at the top in quantity. The trees barely had leaves and the melt water was making new streams all over the paths and trailhead parking area. The dogs had a ball playing in the snow and water, so they will have to serve as my "flowers" for this photo outing.
