Updates first; we did move to town. As planned, Chanda and Herb wanted to rent my place in Spring Creek, so Whoopy has roommates and I have great horse caretakers for him. Three of the dogs are with me, Carson, Emma and Jack. Snickers, the Chihuahua, went to live with my friend, Cathy Lampo, to be the spoiled princess and supervise a very friendly, happy pit named Achilles.
Kirk's son, Greg, is here for the holiday. He, Kirk and Jack went snowshoeing Christmas eve and had a great adventure climbing a very steep hillside. Jack was thrilled. Alas, neither Carson nor Emma have the legs for such things, so they got to go for a more sedate walk through the neighborhood with me. Pictures from Jack's great adventure tell the story.
