It's been tough to think about dog things since Bridger's exit, beyond holding them close and wishing for anything but what happened. Things are changing, however, and the hairy children have been working hard to fill the hole left by his passing. Leidy Lou will be providing "cousins," if things go well, so puppies are in the future. Thank you Penni and Carolyn.
The biggest change may occur in the next few weeks. I've met someone. Based on the picture, it is safe to assume it's fairly serious.
We, at least most of us, may move into town again in a few weeks. Some will go to Wyoming to hang out with Mark once he's less busy with some volunteer work for the local gun club.
Whoopy will likely stay out here in Spring Creek, taken care of by the friends from whom I purchased him, who want to rent my house. I'll come out to ride, take care of him, and visit. Things seem to be working out.
If all goes approximately as planned (assuming nothing, mind you), I may even get to go to some dog shows with Carson. He seems markedly unenthused, but I miss enjoying the company of other doggy folks and all of the waggy tails.
